WHEN MOTHER NATURE DOESN'T COOPERATE, FLORIANA ALWAYS DOES

Rain on your wedding day? At Floriana, that’s never a dealbreaker. In fact, when the weather doesn’t cooperate, our Plan B is better than most venues’ Plan A.

One of the biggest advantages of hosting your wedding at Floriana is flexibility — without sacrificing beauty, flow, or guest experience. Our experienced team monitors the forecast closely and waits until the last possible moment to make any weather-related decisions. If the clouds part or conditions improve, we will do everything we can to honor your original outdoor plans. Your vision always comes first.

If rain does roll in, transitions are seamless and stress-free. Our team can shift your ceremony or reception into the mansion ballroom with ease — no scrambling, no awkward gaps, and no feeling like you’ve settled for less.

Couples also love the option to mix indoor and outdoor spaces effortlessly. You can host your reception under our elegant Tidewater sailcloth tent, complete with clear sidewalls designed to keep out the elements while keeping your guests comfortable and cozy. Meanwhile, your ceremony can take place inside the mansion ballroom, where a stunning turn-of-the-century fireplace creates a timeless, romantic backdrop. It’s intimate, elegant, and feels completely intentional — not like a backup plan.

Beyond ceremony and reception spaces, Floriana truly shines when it comes to capturing memories. Our expansive Prep suites provide ample opportunities for portraits, detail shots, and those irreplaceable moments with family and friends. From first looks and quiet exchanges to joyful toasts and laughter, there’s no shortage of beautiful indoor spaces to document your day — rain or shine.

At Floriana, weather is never a worry. It’s simply another reason couples fall in love with a venue designed to support your wedding day vision, no matter what the forecast says.

Because when it comes to your celebration, peace of mind is always part of the plan. ☔✨
